West LA/Sawtelle Community Meet-up

Residents in Sawtelle and West LA want to meet again after last month’s successful first conversation amongst neighbors. Join in on the conversation and community-building. This month, in addition to getting to know each better, the group will be joined by a member of the West LA Neighborhood Council to get feedback on tenant rights work they are working on. While the conversation this week will continue to revolve around tenants rights, this group is for anyone who lives in or around Zip Code 90025: north of I-10, and east of Centinela, regardless of issues that are most meaningful to them.

Budget 101: The First Draft of the 2024-25 City of LA Budget

A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2024, our goal is to raise 70% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
